Sharon Rohardt was born in Hamburg in 1969. After training as a seamstress and state-certified editor, from 1996 onwards she worked as a costume assistant at various companies, including the Hamburg Kammerspiele and the Stuttgart State Opera. Since 1998 she has worked as a costume designer for opera, theatre, film and advertising. Some of her productions were: 2003 “Tristan und Isolde” at the Meiningen Theater and “Margarethe” at the Bielefeld Theater, directed by Alexander von Pfeil, 2004 “Die Fledermaus” at the Bielefeld Theater, directed by Gregor Horres. Since 2004 she has regularly worked as a freelance employee in the costume department of the NDR. 2005 “Der Bieberpelz” at the Altona Theater, directed by Johannes Kaetzler, 2006 “La Fille du Regiment” at the Hamburg State Opera, again directed by Alexander von Pfeil.
